For decades we have given oversight to chaplaincy services at Berks County Jail and Berks Heim. Our dedicated team of chaplains ministers to hundreds of individuals. Both at the jail and Berks Heim, we coordinate the following:

• Visitation to all areas of the facilities

• Religious services 

• Small group learning, such as Bible studies.

In addition, our chaplains are available to staff within the facilities for support and care. Most recently our chaplaincy staff has begun working with the Berks Youth Center.

 

We are also partnered with the Reading Police Chaplains, managing a special fund to support their work with Reading Police officers.
