The trauma informed training opened my eyes to the necessity of understanding ACES and how they impact our clients. The staff received great insight into why our clients respond to situations in an adverse way and how this behavior leads to more bad behavior.  They also learned what to look for and how to identify signs of abuse.

The trauma training was informative, practical, and interactive! I am certified as a Certified Trauma Competent Professional through Lakeside Global Institute (I was a School Counselor in my previous life for almost 20 years). That course was intense and took months to complete. This 2-day training covered all the necessary information and made it engaging for our staff.

Amy, Deputy Director @ Berks County Youth Center

Back view of friends

I have two close friends who both endured multiple childhood traumas, and I've started sharing the information I learned at the training with them. As a result, they've started letting their guard down, and our relationship is deepening.

This training is provided to organizations, churches, or businesses and individuals.

Participants will gain knowledge on recognizing the brain and body’s response to trauma and practical methods of engaging with individuals impacted by trauma. This interactive training includes time for discussion and will direct and guide participants to help those around them.
